Course Outline

Not all coaches who want to join you will have the same goals in mind. And that's okay! This business is so incredible BECAUSE it is so flexible. But... I think it's important to keep in mind, not ALL coaches are created equal! See the graphic above that breaks it down. Remember, this isn't a hard and fast rule, more of a generalization... and as you can see... there's wiggle room in between where people overlap. But for the most part... most the coaches that sign up with you will fall into one of these three categories!

Don't get me wrong… there’s nothing wrong with a DISCOUNT COACH. Discount coaches are steady customers and help build your volume. But it's not smart to build a business on Discount Coaches only because they aren't usually motivated to do the work of coaching, they are just here to get a discount on their own products. The same can be said for PART TIME/HOBBY COACHES. A part time coach might do the bare minimums or might run the business just when it's convenient to them. Or they might not have a ton of motivation because they aren't trying to build a full time business out of this. And that's okay. Of course, BUSINESS BUILDER coaches are who we are all looking for. We want coaches like us. Coaches who are dedicated and who want to build something substantial. Those are the coaches that can really help your business to grow!

Knowing where your coaches individual goals and motivations lie can help you to be a better mentor and coach to them and help you not put all your eggs in their basket. A lot of new coaches fall into the pitfall of signing up a few coaches and thinking those coaches are going to go all the way. Usually that isn't the case. And trying to push people who don't want to do it is a recipe for burnout and frustration. You want to make sure that you are staying focused on WHAT OTHERS WANT and not what YOU want… and to do that, it's a great idea to LAY OUT THEIR OPTIONS TO THEM when they first become a new coach so that you know how to best mentor them and help them!

My challenge to YOU today is to make a similar video and have it up by the end of the week! Post it in the team page when you are done! This video is super important because you will be able to use it from here on out in your business when you sign up a new coach to help figure out where they fall in the spectrum! It's an important assignment, one I don't want you to skip! Step out of your comfort zone! It doesn't have to be perfect, it just has to be done. :)
